After thinking a bit, PCI-E power lacks 3,33 and 5 V rails, most likely a USB card would use the 5 V, so this is not likely to work. But if you ask me 70$ is for some cables is waaayyyyy to much. So if you have the 70$ Belkin PCI-E extension cable set, with these you could convert the connector. However, I didn't look after this, but 2x sata power to 6 pin pci-e power cables exist, so should pci-e 6 pin to 2x sata. ![]() Most of these cards require extra sata power, like in the video, currently you can't buy the required cable for this separately, only boundled with sata expansion boundles like the way overpriced Pegasus 8TB HDD + Cage + cable kit for 400$.
